No one can deny the influence Sarcofago have, and will continue to have, on our underground. Whilst I can't and have no intention of knocking any of their recordings the Rotting EP remains one of their best and most influential releases. The last time Rotting was issued on CD was as far back as 2002 when it came out via Cogumelo Records. Greyhaze Records to Reissue Sarcofago's 'Rotting' with Bonus DVD in September.
Greyhaze Records will reissue Sarcofago's classic 1989 EP Rotting on digipak format with a bonus DVD on September 2. The seminal release from the Brazilian Black/Death Metal trailblazers features a lavish new layout. The DVD captures the band's live performance at Belo Horizonte in 1991 in support of Morbid Angel on the Altars of Madness Tour.
