Polluted Pictures have just announced that their next film production will be Deep Dark. They will co-produce the Portland shot film alongside Vitamin M, which will be directed by Michael Medaglia. Polluted Pictures are the Brothers Freeman, Todd and Jason, who themselves were the directors of Cell Count and The Weather Outside, both of which were cracking movies. More details about Deep Dark after the break.

Some albums
are merely a collection of songs, one playing after another, with no real rhyme
or reason to them. There’s nothing at all wrong with that, but there are also
albums that take you on a journey, and sometimes that journey is a dark and
desolate place. It is these sorts of albums where the track list isn’t as
important as the entire piece is. Total Negation’s Zur Späten Stunde/Zeiträume
is one of these albums.

Whether they
you, or they, like it or not, just about every band has an ‘image’. Some are
more profound than others, and some are more subtle, but they all have them.
What is most important, above all else though, is that the music backs up any
image. Those that don’t have the tunes invariably fade to obscurity as soon as
the rest of the world catches on to them.
The UK gears up for 'The Collection' - DVD details
One of my favorite flicks of recent months, The Collection, is set to hit DVD in the UK on April 29th. Released by eOne, it's an absolute blast of a movie, which continues events started in The Collector. The DVD will feature an audio commentary, among other special features, although I do question why it isn't getting a Blu-ray release as well. Still, I had great fun with this movie, and you can check out more details below, including a ton of stills.
Prepare to enter 'The Facility' - Coming to DVD
Coming to DVD in the UK, on May 6th, is the taut thriller, The Facility. Released by Momentum Pictures, the film was directed by Ian Clark and was formerly known as Guinea Pig. The film is about seven volunteers who take place in a medical experiment, where the shit hits the fan. I caught the film a few months back, under its original title, and it's actually a pretty damned good movie. You can check out a ton of stills from The Facility after the break.

'Dexter' Season 7 coming to Blu-ray and DVD
I'll admit to being late to the show, when it comes to Dexter, but I have to say that it is a dmaned fine show. Now you'll be able to catch-up, or re-watch, Season 7 when it hits Blu-ray and DVD on May 14th. The set will contain all 12 episodes of Season 7 and is released by Showtime Networks, CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution.

On a
beautiful springtime evening death came to the town of West Chester,
Pennsylvania. The third date of Suffocation’s Despise the World tour was coming
through, with a cool looking line-up of bands set to hit The Note, which is
owned by none other than Bam Margera.

'Sadako 3D' coming to Blu-ray and DVD - Full details
On June 4th everyone's favorite well dweller will return, with the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release of Sadako 3D. It's set to be released by Well Go USA, coincidentally enough, and this time she doesn't need just a cassette to do her damage. Rock on, I say. As you can see from the above artwork it will be released with both the 3D and 2D versions included.
Filthy Review - 'The Lords of Salem'
The Lords of
Salem (2013)
Review by
Jude Felton
As a film
director, Rob Zombie has carved a huge divide between those that have embraced
his movies, and those that consider them with nothing but contempt. Personally
speaking, out of his four live action movies, I am a big fan of three. House of
1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects were two sides of the same beaten-up old
coin, and were/are damned entertaining, and as for his version of Halloween;
yeah, I dug it. It was a different take on the classic film and, aside from one
or two issues; it’s a damned solid film. The sequel? The less said about that
one the better, in my opinion. Now it’s Zombie’s time to bring us some brand
new material, which of course still homages the past, and don’t you just know
it, this one is going to be even more divisive than his previous films.
