Being a massive fan of Don Coscarelli's movies, especially the Phantasm flicks, it's great news to get sent the lowdown on Magnet's Blu-ray and DVD release of John Dies at the End. Set to hit the stores, online and off, on April 2nd, the discs look to contain some juicy looking special features (which you can see the full list of below). The film is based on the novel by David Wong, and stars Paul Giamatti.
Synopsis
In JOHN DIES AT THE END, it’s all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs...
