Following the tradition of such movie as ID and The Football Factory comes The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooligan, and it looks right up my street. Chance are though that I will have to wait awhile before I see it, as it will be opening at UK theaters from Momentum Pictures on June 22nd. The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooigan is directed by Paul Tanter and stars Nick Nevern, Simon Philips and Peter Barrett It's not soccer, it's football, and after the break I have the fall lowdown on the flick, including synopsis, stills and trailer.

'The Rise and Fall of a White Collar Hooligan' to hit UK theaters
'The Inbetweeners' movie is coming to U.S. theaters!
I'm a big fan of the TV show The Inbetweeners. It screens on BBC America over here, and I think it's bloody funny. The English show follows the lives of four friends in the latter years of their school lives. Now the movie based on the show is finally getting a US release, and it is going to hit the theaters. How many, I do not know. But if it plays near me I will be there! The Inbetweeners is set to open on September 7th through Wrekin Hill Entertainment. eOne will also releasing The Inbetweeners: The Complete Series on DVD on July 17th.
'Father's Day' now coming on 4 discs!
As some of you may know, there was a lot of fucking about with the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of Astron 6's Father's now. Well, hopefully that is all in the past now as it will see the light of day on a 4 disc release (Blu-ray/2xDVD/CD) sometime in July or August. Hell yes, is all I can say to that. It's a damned fine film and deserves this great looking release! Full details below.

Poster debuts for cop drama 'End of Watch'
I previously posted about the upcoming thriller End of Watch here, and now I have the new poster to share with you. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, the film will be released on September 28th at theaters from Open Road Films, and has a Southland feel to it in my opinion. You can check out the trailer below and judge for yourself.
Mark Hamill stars in UK thriller 'Airbourne': DVD release details
The UK thriller Airbourne will be hitting R2 DVD on July 23rd through Chelsea Films. The film marks the first time Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, has had a starring role in a British flick, and is about a routine flight that doesn't go quite according to plan. The film also features Julian Glover, who you will recognize from Game of Thrones, and Alan 'Nemesis' Ford (Snatch), and was directed by Dominic Burns. You can check out the trailer, promo pics and some stills below.
Filthy Review - Monster Brawl
MONSTER BRAWL (2011)
By Chris MacGibbon
I want to start this off by saying - I'm not a huge
wrestling fan, when I was a youngster I entertained the idea for a few months
but the writing got sloppy, heroes turned to villains then back to heroes
again, someone got "fired" once a week, it lost its charm quick for
me. However, my brothers and their friends are known to be wrestling fans, and
on the occasional Monday night or Sunday night pay-per-view; I've caught a
match here and there, while I still don't particularly care for it - it does
manage to be entertaining despite the flaws.

Synapse to release 'The Life and Death of a Porno Gang'
Originally released in 2009, Life and Death of a Porno Gang is a film that I have been eagerly waiting for. The good news is that Synapse Films will be releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD on August 14th. A Serbian Film has got all of the press going for it, but from what I hear this Serbian Film is a far superior film and I can't wait to check it out.
Filthy Review - Piranha 3DD
PIRANHA 3DD (2012)
Review by Chris MacGibbon
Whenever watching a film involving "something in the
water", the solution to the characters' plight always seems rather simple;
get the heck out of the water. I mean if you're running, ahem, swimming away
from something that is limited to the confines of H20, the answer should be
clear. I can only assume those who decide to stay in the water are adhering to
nature's selection.

Filthy Review - Man on a Ledge
Man on a Ledge (2012)
Review by Jude Felton
You just have to love the high concept movie. Well, you
don’t have to, but when they are done well they can be great fun. We’ve had
terrorists in a high rise in Die Hard, a bomb on a bus in Speed and now a man
on a ledge in Man on a Ledge. Genius. Now, I will admit to thinking that surely
this was some kind of joke when I first read about the movie. I mean seriously,
a movie about a man standing on a ledge? It’ll either be boring as hell or
depressing beyond belief. I was very wrong though; this movie was a blast.
'Crows Zero II' UK DVD release details
More crazy student fight action is heading to the UK on July 2nd, with the release to DVD of Takashi Miike's Crows Zero 2. Picking up where the first film left off the DVD will be released by MVM and is rated 15. Did I mention that there is a 30 minute fight scene? Expect a review soon.

Filthy Review - The House
The House (2007)
Review by Jude Felton
Over the years there have been some terrific horror
flicks that have come out of Thailand, movies such as Shutter, Dorm and The
Eye. Even the slightly less impressive, but still enjoyable flicks such as Sick
Nurses and P offered up something worthwhile for the viewer. So, it confuses me
a little as to why The House, which is directed by The Victim’s Monthon
Arayangkoon, has taken so long to get this UK release. Am sure it could be any
one of numerous reasons, although the quality of the film I would think it not
the reason. The House doesn’t tread any real new ground, but what it does it
does quite well.
