The fine folk at Third Window Films are set to release the batshit crazy, but very cool, Tetsuo: The Iron Man and Tetsuo 2: Body Hammer on to Blu-ray on October 8th. Both will have remastered hi-def transfer, for the first time for both films. More details below.
Third Window Films are very pleased to be the first in the world to release a newly remastered high definition blu-ray of Shinya Tsukamoto's cult classics Tetsuo: The Iron Man and Tetsuo II: Body Hammer
Not only are we creating a double-disc Blu-ray and DVD set which includes a new transfer of both films, but we also have included Shinya Tsukamoto's 45 minute pre-Tetsuo film 'The Adventures of Electric Rod Boy' which has also been remastered. To top everything off we have a brand new exclusive interview with Tsukamoto, talking about both Tetsuo films as well as giving a 5 minute introduction to 'Rod Boy'.
To make the set even nicer we are including 5 different sleeve images in the box, with 2 of them brand new illustrated works.
There will be a cardboard slipcase with 1 image from Tetsuo (top image) and then double-sided sleeve artwork (2nd and 3rd images), each side featuring an image from both Tetsuo films, so you can have a choice of what images you want on your box!
